Just a little ways down the beach at "Dreams" Resort there is the Maya Diving Center run by Tim Day. Offering daily dive trips to the world's 2nd largest barrier reef - just offshore and in front of our casa! They also provide free pick-up! You can also rent snorkels, fins & other various equipment there.

With just a 5 minute stroll down the road, there is a refreshing cenote (a fresh water sinkhole) where some unbelievable clear water diving & snorkling can be had as well as a beach front restaurant & bar called "Casa Cenote". There is also a great Italian restaurant called "Blue Sky" that offers great homemade pasta & seafood dishes, it’s the next place past "Casa Cenote."

The town of Tulum is a few minutes' drive south of Tankah - great for eating meals at quaint outdoor restaurants. Just a 30-40 minute drive north of Tankah is the bustling tourist town of Playa del Carmen. Restaurants of all types as well as nightclubs and great tourist shopping abounds in Playa del Carmen.

There are many wonderful treats along the corridor to explore. Some of the best places for snorkeling & sightseeing as well as shopping & dining are very close. Casa Tankah is the perfect place for the romantic or the adventurer.
